Job summary

New Zealand Government in Auckland is seeking a proactive Project/Programme Coordinator to support Grid Delivery projects. You’ll provide end-to-end project coordination, ensure accurate information flow, and work closely with Project Managers and the finance team to support forecasting, invoicing and reporting.

You’ll join a busy, collaborative team and bring strong communication, analytical skills and attention to detail to help deliver value across multiple infrastructure initiatives.

Qualifications

• Outstanding organisational and coordination skills to manage competing priorities.
• Sound financial acumen and familiarity with financial management systems.
• Experience (or strong interest in) project or programme coordination.
• Strong analytical skills to identify issues and exceptions.
• Advanced capability using Microsoft Office and Excel; knowledge of MS Project or Oracle/SAP is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end project coordination and information management across the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate with Project Managers and finance to support forecasting, invoicing, accruals and variance reporting.
• Monitor and analyse project reports and performance metrics.
• Identify opportunities for efficiency through continuous improvement.
