Job summary

The HR Company is seeking a Manufacturing Inventory Specialist in Auckland to own end-to-end visibility of material and product movements across receiving, production, WIP, warehousing and dispatch at multi-site operations in New Zealand.

You will produce the daily mass balance, investigate variances, and report outcomes, while mapping gaps between physical stock and system records and driving corrective actions with relevant teams.

Qualifications

• BEng/BTech/BSc in Industrial Engineering or closely related field.
• Min 3 years in a manufacturing, FMCG or food production environment.
• Working knowledge of ERP/MES systems and production/stock reporting; Syspro experience not required.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end visibility of material and product movements across the value chain.
• Produce the daily mass balance of raw materials vs finished goods.
• Identify gaps between physical stock and system records and resolve variances.
• Build dashboards/reports (ERP/MES and Excel/BI) tracking material flow and stock accuracy.
• Investigate variances and drive corrective actions with relevant teams.
• Map and review processes behind movement recording and mass balance; redesign for efficiency.
• Standardise data capture procedures and align data capturers on correct system use.
• Support inventory accuracy through cycle counts and stock takes across sites.
