Job summary

Gunn Talent is helping a New Zealand manufacturing business appoint a Procurement & Inventory Specialist. You’ll own a newly created role focusing on procurement, inventory, data and systems, with autonomy to shape processes and drive improvements.

You’ll clean and improve data quality across ERP, review procurement workflows, analyse stock levels and support forecasting. Collaboration with sales, operations and finance is key, plus occasional travel to Wellington or Christchurch.

Qualifications

• Experience improving inventory, procurement or supply chain processes.
• Strong analytical and data-management skills.
• ERP experience; Microsoft Dynamics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own and shape a newly created role focused on procurement, inventory, data and people.
• Clean, maintain and improve data quality across ERP and inventory systems.
• Review and improve procurement and inventory processes with scalable workflows.
• Analyse inventory and supply data to optimise stock levels and support forecasting.
• Collaborate with sales, operations and finance to improve planning and efficiency.
• Lead continuous improvement and develop inventory strategy as the business grows.
