Job summary

Fresco NZ Limited in Pakuranga, Auckland, is seeking an experienced manufacturing leader to oversee the production function, ensuring safe, efficient operations, on time delivery and top quality.

Reporting to the Head of Operations, you will collaborate with Engineering, Design, Supply Chain and Planning teams to drive production flow, optimise performance and lead a high-performing, safety-conscious workforce.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production operations across fabrication, machining, assembly, polishing and related workshop activities.

• Monitor production performance, labour utilisation, productivity and costs.
• Promote a strong culture of safety, quality and accountability.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives and waste reduction activities.
• Coordinate closely with Engineering, Design, Supply Chain and Planning teams to remove barriers and optimise production flow.
• Ensure equipment, tooling and production assets are maintained and available to support business needs.

Fresco NZ Limited is a reputable International Company based in Pakuranga. We take pride in the Bulk Material Handling systems that we design and then fabricate and assemble in our workshop, from the first design concept to packing the finished items for delivery to our customers. Our global Sales Team have secured a good pipeline of work, with more on the horizon.

About the role

Reporting to the Head of Operations - NZ, you will be responsible for the day-to-day leadership of our production function, ensuring manufacturing activities are completed safely, efficiently, on time, and to the highest quality standards. Working closely with Engineering, Design, Supply Chain, Quality and Planning teams, you will play a critical role in maintaining production flow, improving operational performance and supporting the ongoing growth of the business.
