Leadership role with a focus on operational efficiency and compliance

About the Opportunity

We are a company that prides itself on reliability and precision. From our Auckland hub, we manage a vast range of products, ensuring our clients receive what they need, exactly when they need it. Stakeholder Collaboration: Acting as a key bridge for the business, you will work with Sales, Finance, and IT, along with external freight and warehousing partners, to ensure seamless end-to-end service.

Safety & Stewardship: Leading our Health and Safety program and managing third-party suppliers to ensure the site remains a safe, well-resourced environment.

Your experience and capabilities will include:

Proven Operations Management: A strong track record in warehouse leadership, including staff development and performance oversight.

Technical Logistics Knowledge: Familiarity with international freight processes and devanning under MPI protocols.

Safety Leadership: A deep commitment to H&S at work, ensuring your actions set the standard for the entire team.

Effective Communication: You demonstrate excellent interpersonal communication skills, allowing you to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the business.

Commercial Awareness: The ability to responsibly manage business resources and achieve set targets with a focus on value and efficiency.

Expertise in managing inventory accuracy and maximizing onsite capacity.

High level of punctuality and a commitment to fulfilling all duties with a sense of urgency.

A "solutions-focused" mindset and the resilience to handle the dynamic nature of a busy distribution hub.
