Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a qualified Industrial Electrician for on-site work at our client’s Queenstown facility. You will maintain and repair electrical systems, troubleshoot faults, and implement preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.

The ideal candidate has trade certification, experience with industrial systems, and a solid understanding of safety procedures. PLC experience is advantageous. Competitive salary with overtime opportunities offered.

Qualifications

Trade-certified industrial electrician.
Experience with industrial electrical systems including high/low voltage.
Knowledge of electrical codes and safety procedures.
Experience with PLCs is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, power distribution equipment, and control panels for industrial machinery.
Troubleshoot electrical faults and diagnose issues using testing equipment and diagnostic tools.
Perform preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance and prevent failures.
Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
Ensure all work complies with electrical codes, safety regulations, and company standards.
Respond to emergency electrical issues and perform necessary repairs efficiently.
