Placements24 is seeking a qualified Industrial Electrician for on-site work at our client’s Queenstown facility. You will maintain and repair electrical systems, troubleshoot faults, and implement preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.

The ideal candidate has trade certification, experience with industrial systems, and a solid understanding of safety procedures. PLC experience is advantageous. Competitive salary with overtime opportunities offered.

Qualifications

About the Role

Our client is seeking a qualified and experienced Industrial Electrician to maintain and repair electrical systems and equipment at their facility in Queenstown . This critical role ensures the safe and efficient operation of all electrical infrastructure, including machinery, control systems, and power distribution. You will be responsible for troubleshooting electrical issues, performing installations, and implementing preventative maintenance to minimize downtime. The ideal candidate is highly skilled, safety-conscious, and capable of working independently or as part of a team in an industrial setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, power distribution equipment, and control panels for industrial machinery.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults and diagnose issues using appropriate testing equipment and diagnostic tools.
• Perform preventative maintenance on electrical equipment to ensure optimal performance and prevent failures.

Requirements

• Experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and motor control systems is advantageous.
