Job summary
Industrial Controls South Canterbury Ltd in Rolleston seeks an Industrial Electrician to install, maintain and commission electrical systems across New Zealand’s primary industries. The role covers plant maintenance, upgrades and new project installations, with local work and occasional travel to client sites.
You’ll join a skilled team delivering industrial electrical installations across food and beverage, dairy, water, manufacturing and infrastructure.
Qualifications
- NZ Registered Electrician qualification with current practising licence
- Experience in industrial electrical installation, project delivery & maintenance
- Strong fault-finding skills and ability to interpret electrical drawings/schematics
- Excellent communication with commitment to safety, quality and customer service
- Experience in instrumentation, hazardous areas, inspection or machine safety would be advantageous
Responsibilities
- Install, test and commission industrial electrical systems, equipment and infrastructure
- Carry out preventative maintenance and fault finding across industrial facilities
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics and installation docs
- Work in a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality industrial projects and maintenance
- Maintain high safety, quality and workmanship standards while supporting continuous improvement
