Job summary

AECOM is seeking an IT On‑Site Support Specialist for our Wellington office. You will own incidents and requests, support end‑user devices and Microsoft 365 services, and maintain meeting room tech. You will work with local and regional IT teams to deliver secure, reliable end‑user experiences.

Role requires computing discipline and 2+ years IT support experience, strong MS 365 knowledge, and familiarity with ITIL/ServiceNow. Hybrid work options and a broad benefits program are provided.

Qualifications

• Qualification in a computing discipline and/or a minimum of 2 years relevant experience in an IT support function.
• Enthusiastic and passionate about IT service delivery and the delivery of a high‑quality end‑user experience.
• Contemporary working knowledge of end‑user computing technologies including desktop/laptop hardware and productivity applications.
• Working knowledge of networking technologies (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, Wi‑Fi, VPN) and basic troubleshooting.
• High level competency in Microsoft 365 applications (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint).
• Working knowledge of ServiceNow, ITSM processes, and ITIL methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Provide 2nd level IT onsite support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices and peripherals.
• Deliver client‑focused support with clear communication and timely resolution or escalation.
• Provide hands‑on deskside support and guidance to users with varying technical knowledge.
• Ensure day‑to‑day onsite IT services are operational and proactively identify issues.
• Support onboarding, offboarding and user lifecycle activities including asset handling.
• Maintain Microsoft Teams Rooms and AV systems and other meeting room tech.
• Install, configure, test, deploy and support standard hardware and software.
• Manage asset provisioning, deployment, refresh and decommissioning per standards.
• Record all incidents, requests and activities in ServiceNow and meet SLAs.
• Create Knowledge Base articles to improve self‑service and team capability.
