First Focus is expanding in New Zealand and seeking a Senior Support Technician (Client SME) to be the go-to technical brain for client environments. You’ll own environments, resolve real problems, and occasionally be the hero. Hybrid role with strong backing from leadership and a team-focused culture.

You’ll work across Microsoft environments (AD, Azure, Entra, M365), virtualization, and cloud platforms, providing high-value support and ownership while growing with a fast-moving MSP.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Active Directory, DNS and GPO curation and replication.
• Strong customer-service ethos with the ability to explain tech without jargon.
• Proven ability to work across MSP or multi-client environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote and phone-based support to clients.
• Act as technical SME for assigned environments.
• Support servers, desktops, and apps across Microsoft ecosystems (AD, Azure, Entra, M365).
• Work across cloud, backup, AV and virtualization platforms (Hyper‑V, Citrix, Veeam).
• Handle Level 2–3 issues across a broad tech stack.
• Collaborate with project engineers and escalation teams; document thoroughly and leverage AI to boost efficiency.
