Job summary

Number Two Piggeries in Queenstown is seeking an HR professional to join our operations team. This hands-on role covers the full employee lifecycle from hiring to offboarding, employee relations, payroll support, and policy administration.

The successful candidate will have a relevant HR degree or diploma, at least five years as an HR generalist, and strong knowledge of IR/ER and South African labour legislation. You must be able to work independently and engage with employees at all levels.

Qualifications

• HR degree or diploma is required.
• Minimum of five years HR generalist experience.
• Strong knowledge and practical experience in IR/ER.
• Experience in manufacturing, food production, abattoir operations or another industrial environment is advantageous.
• Up-to-date knowledge of South African labour legislation.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and administrative skills.
• A self-starter who can work independently and engage effectively with employees at all levels.
