Job summary

Kāinga Ora – Homes and Communities is seeking a capable Construction Project Manager to lead the construction phase of multiple housing projects from Newmarket. You will ensure safety, on-time delivery, and high-quality standards while coordinating with a collaborative project team in a Newmarket office.

The role requires strong PM experience in construction, knowledge of NZS 3915, and effective stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ project management experience in construction.
• Relevant qualification and/or PMP/Prince2 certification.
• Strong understanding of NZS 3915 contract standards and NZS 3604 building standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead the construction phase of housing projects and ensure on-time, safe delivery.
• Manage site operations, build partners, and report on progress and risks.
• Mentor Assistant Project Managers and ensure quality and compliance across sites.
