Job summary

Homes by Parklane is seeking a Construction Project Manager to lead day-to-day operations across multiple residential sites in Canterbury. You will ensure on-time, within-budget delivery while upholding high construction standards and client satisfaction.

The role requires proven PM experience in residential builds, strong knowledge of NZ building regulations (NZS 3604), and excellent communication with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Project Manager or Assistant Project Manager within residential construction.
• Strong knowledge of New Zealand building regulations, compliance requirements, and NZS 3604.
• Proven leadership and subcontractor management capabilities.
• A collaborative team-focused approach and commitment to achieving excellent client outcomes.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong people management. Planning and problem-solving abilities.
• A current New Zealand driver’s licence.

Responsibilities

• Managing day-to-day operations across multiple residential construction sites.
• Ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Maintaining high-quality construction standards.
• Building strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers through effective communication.
• Coordinating material ordering and project planning to ensure smooth delivery from the very start.
