Job summary

Mövenpick Hotel Auckland is seeking a proactive Housekeeping Supervisor to lead Room Attendants on a busy 4-5 star team. You will coordinate daily tasks, uphold high cleaning standards and ensure guest rooms meet premium quality, while collaborating with other departments.

Reporting to the Executive Housekeeper, you will train staff, manage performance, and handle guest queries with professionalism. A strong grooming standard and excellent communication are essential; flexible shifts including

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support Room Attendants daily, liaising with the different departments of the hotel on queries and requests.
• Assist and supervise room coordination duties as and when required.
• On the Job training of employees to ensure rooms are cleaned to the highest standards and in an efficient manner.
• Performance management of employees, adhering to policies and processes.
• Inspect and release rooms, ensuring defects are reported; attend to guest queries and complaints with the Executive Housekeeper when required.

Job Description

To be successful in your application, you must exhibit the following qualities:

• Have an outgoing personality with genuine passion for Hospitality
• Be flexible. You are expected to work a variety of shifts which includes weekends across a 7 day/ week roster including early mornings and late nights
• Be driven. You are all about quality and presentation and you have the desire to progress in hospitality
• Show initiative.You are approachable team player and you can think outside of the box
• Be a juggler. You are able to manage multiple tasks at any given time
