Job summary

Sofitel Queenstown is seeking an Arrival Concierge to be the first welcome and the final farewell for guests, delivering warm, attentive service at the heart of our hotel experience. You will greet guests on arrival, assist with luggage, support lobby and security duties, and help maintain a polished, secure environment while creating memorable moments that reflect New Zealand hospitality.

Position Overview

As Arrival Concierge, you are the first welcome and the final farewell; the quiet confidence at the heart of our guest arrival experience.

Meet and greet upon guest’s arrival, farewell guests upon departure at the hotel door. Assist in the day to day operations of the Concierge department including lobby services and security functions, ensuring that standards are maintained in these areas, efficiency evident and guests’ needs met and expectations exceeded.

In this role of presence and poise, you will greet each guest with warmth, attentiveness, and a refined heartfelt service that reflects the essence of our hotel. You will be entrusted with creating effortless transitions: opening doors, assisting with luggage, and offering a sense of calm and care from the very first interaction.

Beyond the door, you’ll support the broader Concierge and Front Office team in delivering a seamless guest journey; including valet service performed with precision, lobby presentation, and maintaining a secure, polished environment. Every moment is an opportunity to create connection, elevate expectations, and leave a lasting impression.
