Job summary

Pathways Health Ltd in Wellington is seeking a Health Coach/Support Worker for a permanent role, 32 hours per week (Mon-Thu, 8:30am–5:00pm). You will provide medication support, assist with meals and daily tasks, and help clients build independent living skills in a dynamic mobile team.

Lived experience is valued alongside formal qualifications; a NZ driver’s licence and first aid are required, with Te Tiriti o Waitangi principles appreciated. Applications close 16 Oct 2026.

The Role | Mō tēnei tūranga mahi

This is a permanent role working 32 hours per week, Monday to Thursday, 8.30am to 5.00pm

As a Health Coach/Support Worker, you’ll report to the Team Coach and join our dynamic mobile service. You’ll work alongside a supportive team of Support Workers to make a meaningful difference in the lives of people on their mental health journey.

While mental health experience is preferred, we also highly value lived and life experience.

• Work alongside Registered Health Professionals with a common purpose.

You | Mōu

We're looking for passionate individuals who thrive on autonomy and value independence.

You will also have:

• A current full NZ driver’s licence.
• A current first aid certificate or be willing to obtain one.
• Knowledge of, and demonstrable commitment to, the principles of the Te Tiriti o Waitangi
• The Level 4 New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing (NZCHW), or a recognised equivalent — or be currently studying toward this qualification or equivalent.
