Aspect Furniture Systems Limited is seeking a commercially minded Group Financial Controller to lead finance across New Zealand and Australia. The role focuses on strengthening financial reporting, improving forecasting and cash flow management, and delivering insightful profitability analysis for decision-making.

You will oversee multi-entity financial operations, drive cost controls, enhance project costing (WIP and BOM), and lead a capable finance team.

Qualificações

• Experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Knowledge of job costing, WIP, BOM, and inventory control.
• Proven ability to lead and develop a Finance team.
• Experience across NZ and Australia or multi-entity reporting.
• Strong analytical and commercial mindset with ability to partner non-finance managers.

Responsabilidades

• Lead financial reporting across NZ and Australian entities, including management accounts and profitability analysis.
• Own the month-end close, targeting timely and accurate reporting.
• Lead budgeting, quarterly reforecasts, and rolling 12‑month cash flow and project margin forecasts.
• Provide meaningful analysis to identify variances, risks, and profitability improvement opportunities.
• Strengthen job costing, WIP, inventory and BOM processes for project margins.
• Partner with department managers to improve cost forecasting and performance.
• Lead monthly project financial reviews and provide board-ready insights.
• Drive end-to-end finance process improvements and in-house outsourced activities as needed.
• Oversee payroll, reconciliations, taxation, audits, and compliance across NZ and AU.
• Champion finance system improvements (ERP, Xero, HubSpot, Power BI) and automation.
