Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Global Solutions in New Zealand seeks a Finance Manager to lead the end-to-end finance function for Pacific Door Systems Ltd. You will drive planning, budgeting, forecasting and reporting with accuracy and strong regulatory compliance.

The role is onsite in Auckland or Wellington, requiring five years post-qualification experience and CA/CPA qualification. You will manage monthly accounts, statutory payments, and group reporting while liaising with banks and tax accountants.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in accounting or equivalent and CA/CPA qualified.
• Minimum of five years post-qualification experience.
• In-depth understanding of fiscal management, processes, and reporting.
• Substantial experience in accounting systems.
• Traditional accounting expertise with knowledge of legislation.
• Proven effective leadership and staff management skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management and ability to communicate with Senior Leaders.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end finance function for Pacific Door Systems Ltd.
• Ensure statutory payments are made accurately and on time (PAYE, FBT, Provisional Tax, ACC, GST).
• Produce accurate monthly management accounts by the due date.
• Manage monthly reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow.
• Interpret and work with standard costing models.
• Complete group reporting including HFM reporting.
• Produce year-end accounts.
• Review and process weekly wages, monthly creditors, and other payments.
• Manage relationships with Bank Manager and Tax Accountants.
• Ad-hoc tasks and projects as required.
