MiTek New Zealand (Asia Pacific region) seeks an experienced Financial Controller to lead the NZ finance function and provide strategic support across Australia and New Zealand. Reporting to the Finance Director APAC, the role combines hands‑on financial leadership with business partnering, regional reporting, finance transformation, and strategic project involvement.

Qualified accountant with CA/CPA or equivalent.
Proven experience in Financial Controller or senior finance leadership roles.
Strong technical accounting, reporting, and planning expertise.
Experience supporting multi-site or multi-country operations.

Responsibilities

Lead all financial control, accounting, budgeting, forecasting and reporting for New Zealand.
Provide strategic financial advice to APAC Finance Director and regional leadership.
Ensure robust governance, internal controls and risk management.
Perform Company Secretary responsibilities and ensure regulatory compliance.
Manage taxation, cash flow, working capital and financial controls.
Build relationships with auditors, banks and external stakeholders.
