Remote is seeking a Manager, Payroll Operations to lead our Global Payroll Operations. This role owns the payroll function, ensures timely and compliant processing across international settings, and mentors the Payroll team. A strong background in global payroll, SAP, and data-driven process improvement is essential.

You will navigate diverse regulatory landscapes, manage vendor relationships, and drive best practices with a focus on accuracy, speed, and scalability in a fully remote environment.

Qualifications

• Extensive regional/global payroll operations experience.
• Understanding of global payroll best practices.
• Experience in implementing payroll in multiple countries and managing relationships with third party payroll services.
• Excellent people management without micromanagement.
• Proficient in SAP, Excel, and Google Sheets.

Responsibilities

• Own the complete payroll function, ensuring on-time, accurate payroll processing in compliance with country regulations.
• Serve as the primary point of contact between internal and external stakeholders on payroll matters.
• Lead and mentor the Payroll Operations team.
• Stay up-to-date with international payroll laws and regulations.
• Ensure compliance with corporate and country-specific policies and procedures.
• Manage relationships with payroll providers and accounting teams.
• Develop and implement KPIs and SLA measures for the team.
