Job summary

Workday, Inc. in Auckland, New Zealand, is seeking a Senior Product Manager for Country Payroll to shape product strategy across one or more countries and ensure local compliance while delivering a best-in-class payroll experience.

You will partner with legal, compliance, localization, engineering, and support teams to translate payroll regulations into actionable requirements, manage stakeholder expectations, and drive the payroll roadmap with a metrics-driven approach.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of product management experience with payroll focus.
• Strong understanding of multi-country payroll and compliance.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience delivering regulated SaaS products.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive product vision, strategy, and roadmap for country payroll.
• Partner with legal, compliance, and localization teams to meet regulatory requirements.
• Translate payroll regulations into clear product requirements and stories.
• Work with engineering, design, and QA to deliver payroll features on time.
• Engage with customers, partners, and internal teams to prioritize backlog.
• Monitor regulatory changes and adjust product strategy.
• Define and track KPIs for payroll initiatives.
• Support go-to-market activities, including documentation and release communications.
