Job summary

Toll Group is hiring an Operations Coordinator for Auckland or Christchurch, NZ. The role supports international freight operations, managing customer shipments from start to finish while delivering outstanding service outcomes.

Responsibilities include coordinating import/export shipments, liaising with carriers and internal stakeholders, and maintaining accurate records. The role requires at least 3 years in freight forwarding operations and strong use of CargoWise.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience in a freight forwarding operations role.
• Solid understanding of international import and export processes.
• Strong customer service, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience using CargoWise (essential).
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage international import and export shipments using CargoWise.
• Coordinate freight movements with shipping lines, airlines, transport providers and co-loaders.
• Provide proactive shipment updates and exceptional customer service.
• Resolve operational issues and support customers with shipment enquiries.
• Process shipping documentation, reporting, cargo declarations and invoicing.
• Monitor shipment performance and ensure service levels and customer KPIs are achieved.
• Maintain accurate customer and shipment records.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance customer experience.
