Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will take ownership of a portfolio of customers, managing the end-to-end movement of Import Air and Sea freight. You will be responsible for booking and tracking shipments, documentation, detention management, liaising with overseas agents and organizing deliveries, while ensuring a high level of service is maintained throughout the process.
This is a varied role suited to someone who enjoys taking ownership, working independently and building strong customer and overseas agent relationships. There will also be opportunities to visit customers, strengthen existing relationships and contribute to the overall growth and service delivery of the business.

We are looking for an experienced freight professional who has worked within an international freight forwarding environment and is confident managing shipments and customers with a high level of autonomy.
You will have a strong understanding of the freight forwarding process, Incoterms and international supply chains, along with the ability to manage priorities, resolve issues and build strong relationships with customers, overseas agents and internal stakeholders.
