Job summary

Pizza Hut Invercargill is hiring three duty managers to work full-time. Duty managers support the store manager with recruitment, training, scheduling, ordering, and team development.

You’ll help deliver high-quality food and 100% customer satisfaction, while ensuring stock control and financial records are kept up to date. Role involves coordinating shifts, supervising staff, and enforcing health, safety, and security policies.

Qualifications

• Hospitality or business qualification, or six months in a management role.
• Good numerical and computing literacy to handle budgets and ordering.
• Strong written and spoken communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist store manager with recruitment, training and store management.
• Oversee staff induction and ensure courses are completed on schedule.
• Schedule labour, order food and supplies, and develop team members.
• Support high-quality product/service delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain stock records and financial transactions.
• Supervise shifts and team members; manage store operations daily.
• Ensure health, safety, and security policies are followed.
• Negotiate deals for large orders and assist in catering marketing.
• Purchase and price goods within budget; monitor P&L and expenditure.
• Support corporate/local marketing programmes execution.
• Attend staff meetings and supervise shift operations.
