North West Ultrasound is seeking an experienced receptionist to join our team on a full-time contractor basis in Hobsonville, Auckland. You will be the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a welcoming experience and smooth day-to-day clinic operations.

The role involves greeting patients, scheduling appointments, answering calls, managing referrals, maintaining records, processing payments and coordinating with healthcare professionals.

Qualifications

• Experience in reception, administration or customer service.
• Healthcare or medical reception experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Organised and able to manage multiple tasks in a busy environment.
• Confident answering phones and dealing with patients.
• Good computer skills and able to learn practice management software.

• Comfortable working independently while also being part of a small team.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm

North West Ultrasound is looking for an experienced, friendly and reliable Receptionist to join our team on a full-time contractor basis.

This is a hands-on, patient-facing role. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play an important part in creating a welcoming experience and helping our busy ultrasound practice run smoothly each day.

What you’ll be doing

Greeting and welcoming patients in a friendly and professional manner

Booking, changing and coordinating patient appointments

Answering telephone enquiries and assisting patients with their queries

Managing referrals and patient information

Maintaining accurate patient records

Liaising with sonographers, referring doctors and other healthcare professionals

What we’re looking for

We are looking for someone who:

Has previous experience in reception, administration or customer service

Contractor Position

This is a full-time contractor position, with regular working hours of:

Monday to Friday: 8:00am – 5:00pm

We are looking for someone who is available and committed to working these hours consistently.

The successful contractor will be responsible for managing their own tax and ACC obligations and will be engaged under a contractor agreement.
