Job summary

Oranga Tamariki—Ministry for Children seeks an experienced Programme Coordinator to support the Frontline Technology Systems Upgrade Programme. You will work with Programme Managers and the PMO to drive planning, governance, and delivery across a dedicated work package.

This embedded role is not purely administrative; you will help manage risks, maintain plans, and prepare governance papers, while building relationships with senior leaders across the organisation.

Qualifications

At least five years of experience in a Programme Coordinator, PMO or similar role.
Experience supporting complex programmes or multi-workstream projects.
Strong planning and organisational skills with attention to detail.
Experience maintaining programme plans, RAID logs, dashboards and reporting.

Responsibilities

Drive planning, governance, reporting and delivery activities across a dedicated work package.
Support Programme Managers and senior leaders with governance and decision-making.
Act as a key link between business teams, delivery partners and programme leadership.
Assist in risk management and delivery outcomes within the programme work package.
