Cordis, Auckland by Langham Hospitality Group is inviting a skilled Front Office Team Leader to join our luxury hotel. You will guide the Front Office team, ensure smooth daily operations and deliver outstanding guest experiences.

We value leadership, exceptional service, and a proactive approach. This role requires a rotating 7‑day roster, including weekends and public holidays, with work rights in New Zealand.

Qualifications

• Previous Front Office experience within a hotel environment.
• Strong customer service skills with a genuine passion for creating great guest experiences.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience would be advantageous.
• Confident communicator who can build positive relationships with guests and colleagues.
• Strong problem‑solving and conflict‑resolution skills.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in a busy guest‑facing environment.
• Proactive, organised and able to use initiative.
• Strong attention to detail.
• A supportive team player who is comfortable coaching and guiding others.
• Must be flexible to work a rotating roster over 7 days, including weekends and public holidays.

Responsabilités

• Lead by example and support the Front Office team in delivering a high standard of guest service
• Assist with the day-to-day running and operation of Front Office
• Support guest check-ins, check-outs, VIP management, requests and enquiries
• Handle guest enquiries, requests and complaints in an empathetic and professional manner
• Coach and train new colleagues and support ongoing team development
• Ensure hotel standards, procedures and service expectations are consistently followed
• Work closely with other hotel departments to ensure a smooth guest experience
• Support the team in creating personalised experiences and memorable moments for our guests
• Assist with maintaining the presentation and cleanliness of Front Office and lobby areas
• Undertake Duty Manager shifts when rostered
