Job summary

Team Global Express NZ Hastings branch is seeking a Freight Operator to join a high‑performing team. You will load/unload freight, scan, sort, and keep operations moving safely and on time.

Morning shift 3.00am–11.30am. Must have clean NZ Class 1 license and forklift license with OSH cert; Dangerous Goods endorsement ideal. We value safety, teamwork and clear communication.

Looking for a role where you get variety in your day and be part of a high performing team? We’re on the hunt for a Freight Operator to join our Hastings branch!

Team Global Express NZ delivers freight forwarding, end-to-end transport services, and comprehensive logistics solutions to customers operating in New Zealand from Kaitaia to Invercargill.

Morning Shift: Monday – Friday 3.00am – 11.30am

About the role - Mō te tūranga

In this hands‑on role, you’ll be loading and unloading freight, scanning, sorting and keeping everything moving safely and on time. No two days are the same – its’ a fast‑paced, physical role where teamwork is key.

Key duties:

• Load and unload all freight safely and securely, for both road and rail units.
• Achieve branch operational objectives by using On-time to scan freight efficiently.
• Ensure all equipment is operated in a safe and proficient manner.
• Maintain good working relationships.
• Communicate effectively within a team environment

What will you bring? – Ōu Pūkenga?

• Clean Full NZ Class 1 License – must have
• Forklift License with OSH cert – must have
• Dangerous Good Endorsement – ideal
