Job summary

Team Global Express in Mount Maunganui (Tauranga, NZ) invites applications for a Forklift Operator on an afternoon shift. If you enjoy a varied, hands-on role in a fast-moving logistics environment, this is for you.

You will load/unload freight, scan and sort goods, operate forklift safely, and support branch objectives. NZ Full Class 1 license, OSH forklift certificate, and a Dangerous Goods endorsement are preferred, along with good communication and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Clean Full NZ Class 1 license.
• Forklift license with OSH certification.
• Dangerous Goods endorsement preferred.
• Customer-focused attitude and strong teamwork.
• Experience driving on New Zealand roads.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight safely and securely.
• Scan and sort freight for efficient handling.
• Operate forklift and assist with yard and warehouse tasks.
• Maintain safe working relationships and effective teamwork.
• Help meet branch operational objectives.

Afternoon Shift: Monday – Friday 4.00pm – 12.30am

In this hands‑on role, you’ll be loading and unloading freight, scanning, sorting and keeping everything moving safely and on time. No two days are the same – its’ a fast‑paced, physical role where teamwork is key.

Load and unload all freight safely and securely, for both road and rail units.

Achieve branch operational objectives by using On-time to scan freight efficiently.

Ensure all equipment is operated in a safe and proficient manner.

Maintain good working relationships.

Communicate effective within a team environment
