Job summary

Team Global Express Invercargill is seeking a Forklift Operator to join our busy branch. You will load/unload freight, operate a forklift, and help maintain safe, efficient warehouse operations. A strong focus on safety, accuracy, and teamwork is essential for success.

You must hold a NZ Class 1 license, a forklift license (OSH cert), and ideally a Class 2 license or DG endorsement. Applicants with NZ road experience are preferred. Immediate start available for suitable candidates.

Qualifications

• Clean Full NZ Class 1 License – mandatory.
• Forklift License with OSH certification – mandatory.
• Clean Class 2 license – desirable.
• Dangerous Goods Endorsement – desirable.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight safely by hand, or with forklift when required.
• Ensure freight is handled without damage.
• Achieve branch objectives by using On-time to scan freight efficiently.
• Ensure all equipment is operated in a safe and proficient manner.
• Maintain good working relationships.
• Communicate effectively within a team environment.

Team Global Express NZ delivers freight forwarding, end-to-end transport services, and comprehensive logistics solutions to customers operating in New Zealand from Kaitaia to Invercargill.

Shift: Monday – Friday 8.00am – 4.30pm
