Job summary

Team Global Express NZ is seeking a Forklift Operator in Invercargill. You’ll mix driving and freight sorting in a fast-paced environment, contributing to safe handling and efficient branch operations.

Qualifications

• Must hold a clean NZ Class 1 license and a forklift license with OSH cert.
• Experience driving on New Zealand roads.

• Fast-paced, physical role requiring safety-consciousness.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight safely by hand or with forklift.
• Ensure freight is handled without damage.

Team Global Express NZ delivers freight forwarding, end-to-end transport services, and comprehensive logistics solutions to customers operating in New Zealand from Kaitaia to Invercargill.

Shift

Monday – Friday 8.00am – 4.30pm

About The Role - Mō Te Tūranga

This isn’t just a standard role - you’ll have the opportunity to have variation in your day and will be doing a mix of driving and sorting freight. No two days are the same – it’s fast-paced, physical work where teamwork is key.

Key Duties

• Load and unload freight safely by hand, or with forklift when required
• Ensure freight is handled without damage
• Achieve branch operational objectives by using On-time to scan freight efficiently.
• Ensure all equipment is operated in a safe and proficient manner.
• Maintain good working relationships.
• Communicate effectively within a team environment

• Clean Full NZ Class 1 License – must have
• Forklift License with OSH cert – must have
• Clean Class 2 license - ideal
