Job summary

Mövenpick Hotel Auckland, part of Accor, is seeking an enthusiastic Food & Beverage service professional to deliver high-quality guest service in a vibrant hotel setting.

You will work across a 7-day rotating roster, collaborating with kitchen and service teams to ensure smooth operations, accurate billing, and memorable guest experiences. Experience in a similar role and strong customer service mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role with strong restaurant/bar service knowledge.
• Ability to work effectively in a busy, fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to delivering high-quality customer service.
• Clear and efficient communication with the kitchen team.
• Ability to work a rotating roster across 7 days, weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality guest service by providing efficient, friendly and professional food and beverage service that meets standards, including VIP/regular guest needs and room service.
• Maintain operational excellence through proper hygiene, cleaning, mis-en-place, equipment control, stock takes, and accurate communication with kitchen and guests.
• Ensure accurate financial processes including guest billing, shift revenue reconciliation, and correct posting of charges.
• Support smooth daily operations by adhering to service times, ensuring staff competence and sales maximisation, and working flexibly across a 7-day rotating roster with early and late shifts.
