Job summary

Mövenpick Hotel Auckland is seeking a passionate bartender to craft cocktails and deliver a premium guest experience at BODA bar. You will create an attractive atmosphere, recommend beverages, and provide friendly, professional service to guests and VIPs.

You will work across a 7-day rotating roster with early and late shifts, maintain hygiene and stock, handle guest billing, and collaborate with the kitchen team. Accor benefits and development programs are available to support your growth.

Qualifications

• Prior Bartending experience.
• Articulate verbal communication and passion for building a rapport with our guests.
• Ability to work well under pressure, think on your feet and ability to make quick decisions.
• Clear and efficient communication with the kitchen team.
• The right to work in New Zealand.

Responsibilities

• Creating cocktails and delivering a unique experience for our guests.
• Daily preparation and closing of bar area.
• Deliver high-quality guest service by providing efficient, friendly and professional food and beverage service that meets standards, including VIP/regular guest needs and room service.
• Maintain operational excellence through proper hygiene, cleaning, mis-en-place, equipment control, stock takes, and accurate communication with kitchen and guests.
• Ensure accurate financial processes including guest billing, shift revenue reconciliation, and correct posting of charges.
• Support smooth daily operations by adhering to service times, ensuring staff competence and sales maximisation, and working flexibly across a 7-day rotating roster with early and late shifts.
