Job summary

Thevoco Auckland City Centre is seeking friendly Waiters to join our dynamic Food & Beverage team on level 38 with panoramic views and Bar Albert rooftop. You will deliver a memorable guest experience across breakfast, conferences and events, and evening service in a fast-paced environment.

We value detail, effective communication, and a can-do attitude. Previous Food & Beverage experience and Barista skills are preferred, and eligibility to work in New Zealand is required.

We're looking for Waiters who are smart, considerate and passionate about delivering a fun and unique food and beverage offering! We're after fast-thinking, customer focused problem solvers that take pride in creating and delivering great customer experiences.

What you'll bring

• You've got a good eye for detail – our processes are super important in helping us deliver a consistent guest experience.
• Being passionate about food and how it is presented you'll also prepare and operate the restaurant/bar for our daily breakfast offering, Conference and Events and/or evening drinks and dinner service.
• You'll be a brilliant communicator dealing with a variety of people, so you’ll be adaptable, consistent, clear, and concise.

Skills & Experience

• Ideally, you will have previous Food and Beverage experience
• Previous Barista experience preferred
• Professional and personable, with a "role up the sleeves", can do attitude
• You make calm, collected decisions – even when the clock is ticking
• You must meet the appropriate legal requirements to work in New Zealand.
