Qualifications

• Previous supervisory or team lead experience in catering/hospitality/events.
• Proven ability to manage and motivate service staff.
• Strong understanding of food and beverage service standards and etiquette.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct catering staff during events, setup, service and breakdown.
• Ensure food and beverage service meets high quality and presentation standards.
• Maintain hygiene and safety standards in all catering areas.
• Set up catering stations, buffets and bars according to event plans.
• Manage inventory of catering supplies and equipment during events.
• Communicate with clients and venue staff to address needs and resolve issues.
• Train junior staff on service protocols and company standards.
• Monitor consumption and report discrepancies.
• Replenish food and beverages during service periods.
• Conduct pre-shift briefings outlining duties and expectations.
• Ensure tidiness of service areas post-event.
• Adhere to company policies for event operations.
