Job summary

Armstrong's in New Zealand is seeking a Financial Controller to lead a finance team across Greenlane and Newmarket dealerships. You will partner with senior leaders in a growing automotive group to drive performance.

You will manage monthly management accounts, forecasts, cash flow, audits, tax compliance, and staff development for the Auckland finance team. Excellent career growth opportunities and competitive remuneration are offered.

Qualifications

• CA qualification and 4+ years post-qualification experience.
• Big 4 experience is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of automotive retail industry is advantageous.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• Advanced Excel and financial analytics.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts with commentary.
• Support dealership management on financial matters.
• Prepare annual plans, budgets, and forecasts.
• Manage cash flow and debtors.
• Oversee balance sheet reconciliations and audits.
• Lead and develop the Auckland finance team.
• Drive process improvements and internal controls.
