Job summary

FIRST Security in Nelson is seeking a Field Service Officer to install and maintain electronic monitoring equipment across courts, prisons, and residential locations. You will respond to faults, attend callouts, and liaise with field support teams to ensure rapid issue resolution.

The role emphasizes professionalism, safety, and respectful interactions with clients and stakeholders. A valid NZ Driver’s Licence, MOJ checks, and COA eligibility are required.

Qualifications

About the Role

We’re looking for a motivated Field Service Officer to join our Nelson team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for installing and maintaining electronic monitoring equipment for individuals serving community-based sentences, working across a variety of environments including courts, prisons, and residential homes.

Duties:

• Installing and maintaining electronic monitoring equipment


• Responding to equipment faults and alert activations


• Attending callouts across courts, prisons, and residential locations


• Liaising with field support teams to resolve issues quickly


• Providing professional, respectful interactions with clients and stakeholders


• Assisting in other areas of the business when required

What you’ll need:
