Job summary

FIRST Security is seeking a motivated Part Time Field Service Officer in Christchurch. This varied field-based role covers electronics monitoring, regulator/compliance duties, security patrols and ATM servicing on a flexible 24 hours per week schedule.

You will respond to alarms, deliveries of medical alarms, and liaise with clients and internal teams while maintaining safety and FIRST Security procedures. A NZ Driver's Licence, COA, MOJ check, and NZ residency or work visa are required.

Qualifications

• Must have valid NZ Driver's Licence.
• Ability to pass Ministry of Justice criminal convictions check.
• Current COA or able to obtain one.
• NZ residency or valid NZ work visa.

Responsibilities

• Installing and maintaining electronic monitoring equipment.
• Responding to field service jobs, including alarms, escorts, lock ups and unlocks.
• Carrying out regulatory and compliance duties, including noise control, animal services and bylaw monitoring.
• Patrolling client sites and responding to incidents and callouts.
• Installing and servicing medical alarm equipment.
• Servicing ATM machines as part of our NCR contract.
• Liaising with clients, stakeholders and internal teams to resolve issues efficiently.
• Completing all work accurately and in line with relevant procedures, protocols and contract requirements.
• Providing professional and respectful service across a variety of environments.
• Assisting in other areas of the business when required.

About the Role

We're looking for a motivated Part Time Field Service Officer (24 hours per week) to join our team in Christchurch. This is a varied field-based role where no two days are necessarily the same. You'll respond to a range of jobs across different contracts, supporting our clients and communities while ensuring all work is completed safely, professionally and in line with FIRST Security procedures.

Your work could include electronic monitoring, regulatory and compliance services, security patrols, alarm responses, medical alarm installations, ATM servicing and more.
