Job summary

CARTERS Papakura is seeking an Account Manager to grow a portfolio of trade customers across Auckland's residential building market. You will spend most of your time on site with builders, contractors and developers, ensuring CARTERS provides what they need when they need it.

You will manage call cycles, nurture new business, coordinate stock and pricing with internal teams, and drive Frame/Truss sales from estimate to production, while building strong supplier relationships.

Qualifications

• Sales or account management experience; building or trade industry experience is a plus.
• Strong organisational skills to manage a busy call cycle and schedule.
• Confidence in identifying and acting on new opportunities in the market.
• Collaborative, problem-solving approach when plans change.

Responsibilities

• Manage your own call cycle, visiting sites to identify opportunities and understand upcoming builds.
• Proactively develop new business through networking and relationships in the local trade community.
• Link between customers and internal teams on stock, delivery timing, and pricing; resolve issues early.
• Manage the sales process for Frame and Truss Manufacturing from estimate through to production.
• Build supplier relationships to assemble complete solutions for customer builds.
