Job summary

Auckland Council is seeking a Facilities Coordinator to manage day-to-day facilities maintenance across Council-owned buildings and open spaces in the Albany area, working with the Facilities Manager. You will oversee contractor performance, support BWOF compliance, manage budgets, and be the first point of contact for maintenance inquiries, ensuring safety, quality and community outcomes.

This role requires strong admin and IT skills, a full NZ driver's license, and a willingness to work across

Qualifications

• Experience delivering facilities maintenance across diverse assets.
• Understanding of Building Warrant of Fitness (BWOF) requirements.
• Ability to manage budgets and track financial performance.
• Comfort using computer systems for admin tasks.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day facilities maintenance for Auckland Council-owned assets across multiple sites.
• Monitor contractors' performance and ensure safety and compliance.
• Support building compliance activities, including BWOF management.
• Champion health, safety and sustainability practices within the portfolio.
