Job summary

Waipuna Hotel & Conference Centre in Mount Wellington is seeking casual F&B Attendants to join our friendly, hands-on Wellingtons Restaurant team. We are located in a central yet peaceful location on the edge of the Panmure Lagoon.

The F&B Attendant role focuses on delivering exceptional service in our restaurant and conferencing environment, maintaining high standards and contributing to guest satisfaction. A flexible roster and NZ work rights are required, with LCQ/First Aid advantageous.

Qualifications

• Genuine passion for customer service and high standards of service.
• Experience in all facets of restaurant service is preferred.
• Ability to multi-task with a can-do attitude and stay calm under pressure.
• Flexibility to work on a rotating roster including days, evenings, nights and weekends.
• Right to work in NZ; LCQ and First Aid are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional service in our restaurant and conference/banquet environment.
• Ensure efficient operation and contribute to revenue through high standards of service.
• Assist with upselling and maintain guest comfort and satisfaction.
• Stand and walk for extended periods while serving guests politely.
• Be flexible in location/team to meet service requirements.

About You

• A passion for customer service, high standards of service and excellent attention to detail.
• Is ideally experienced in all facets Restaurant service.
• Have the ability to multi-task with a can-do attitude
• Keep a cool head whilst working under pressure
• Must be able to work on a rotating roster that covers, days, evening/night & weekends.
• Are available to start as soon as possible.
• If you already have your LCQ and First Aid Certificate this is advantageous
• Must have the right to work in NZ

About the Job

The F&B Attendant:

• Is responsible for ensuring exceptional service is delivered to guests, within our restaurant and conference/banquets environment, in accordance with Primeproperty standards and house rules.
• Actively contributes to the efficient operation and revenue generation of the restaurant or conference by providing a high standard of customer service, cleanliness, food and beverage service, preparation and effective cash and card handling.
• Actively identifies opportunities to upsell
• Must be able to stand and walk for an extended period while accommodating guests effectively and politely.
• Is expected to be flexible in location/team, in order to most effectively deliver on our F&B service requirements.
