Job summary

Andrew Simms South Auckland is launching a new BYD service department and is seeking an Experienced Service Advisor to join the team. You will be the link between customers and the Service Department, handling bookings, check-ins, job cards, estimates, and updates while ensuring high standards.

Experienced Service Advisor - BYD South Auckland

Following the recent opening of our brand-new BYD South Auckland dealership located in the heart of one of Auckland's busiest retail corridors, covering both the South and East Auckland markets, we're now gearing up to launch our new Service Department and are looking for a motivated and Experienced Service Advisor to join the team.

Backed by the reputation and strength of the Andrew Simms Group, this is an exciting opportunity to join the Service team at the beginning of its journey. You'll have the opportunity to work with one of the world's most exciting automotive brands, develop your knowledge of the latest EV technology, and play an important role in establishing a high-performing Service Department from the ground up.

About The Role

As a Service Advisor, you'll be the key link between our customers and the Service Department, managing everything from service bookings and vehicle check-ins through to job cards, estimates, customer updates and vehicle collection. You'll work closely with our Technicians and Parts team to ensure repairs and servicing are completed efficiently and to the highest standard, while keeping customers informed throughout the process. You'll also manage additional work and customer authorisations, ensure accurate invoicing and records, handle customer queries professionally, and follow BYD manufacturer, warranty and service standards. Most importantly, you'll play a key role in creating a positive, organised and high-performing Service Department while delivering an exceptional customer experience at every stage of the ownership journey.

Ideally, you'll have:

• A current full and clean New Zealand driver's licence
