The Electricity Authority in New Zealand seeks an exceptional Executive Assistant to support the Chief Executive, managing diary, inbox, travel, and coordinating meetings while protecting confidentiality.

You will build trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders across government and the energy sector, anticipate priorities, brief, and enable strategic leadership in a fast-paced Crown entity.

Qualifications

  • Experience as a senior-level Executive Assistant in a complex organisation.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with a broad range of stakeholders.
  • Proactive and solutions-focused approach with initiative.
  • Discretion and handling confidential information with professionalism.
  • Excellent organisational skills, prioritisation and deadline management.
  • Strong MS Office 365 proficiency including Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.

The Electricity Authority Te Mana Hiko is an independentCrown entity that regulates the electricity market. Our core focus is to ensurethe electricity system and market deliver reliable electricity at lowest costfor consumers.

The electricity industry is changing rapidly.Electrification across transport and industry is accelerating as the cost ofrenewable generation continues to fall. This transition is transforming thepower system. As the system evolves, regulatory settings must continue to adaptto support reliable lowest cost outcomes for consumers.

We're looking for an exceptional Executive Assistant tosupport our Chief Executive and enable them to operate at their best and focuson what is most important.

As a trusted partner, you'll be at the heart of theorganisation, providing proactive support, managing competing priorities,facilitating key relationships, and helping the Chief Executive focus on thestrategic leadership of the Authority.

You'll work with a wide range of internal and externalstakeholders across government, the electricity sector, and the widerorganisation. No two days will be the same, and you'll thrive on bringingorder, foresight and sound judgement to a fast-paced environment.

  • Managinga complex and dynamic diary, inbox, meeting schedule and travelarrangements.
