Lyfords is a family-owned wealth advisory business helping individuals, families and business owners create, manage and protect their wealth. As the business transitions between generations within the family, its next phase combines growth with consolidation of the foundations that have supported its success.
We are looking for an experienced EA, a financial adviser with exceptional administration skills who wants to change hats, or a strong administrator from a financial services background. You will support our owner and Senior Adviser, alongside two other advisers, and take responsibility for the smooth day-to-day running of our office. This exciting opportunity offers scope to advance your career as the business enters its next phase.
You will work closely with experienced advisers in a caring family business built on trusted, long-term client relationships. Your contribution will be valued, and you will have the opportunity to help strengthen how the business operates through its next stage of growth and consolidation.
If you are ready to bring your proven capability to a role where you can make a difference and continue developing, this is an opportunity to build on what you already do well and expand your contribution over time. You will have the potential to become the operational backbone of the business as your skills and accountabilities grow.
A close working relationship with the owner and Senior Adviser in a caring, family-owned business.
A varied role combining executive assistance, adviser support and office management.
The opportunity to take ownership of your work and improve how things run.
Direct involvement in delivering a professional, welcoming client experience.
Opportunities to learn new skills and take on broader accountabilities as your capability develops.
Your primary focus will be supporting the owner and Senior Adviser, while coordinating support for two other advisers.
You will organise meetings, prepare information, manage follow-ups and help keep client work moving. Alongside this, you will coordinate everyday office requirements so the team has what it needs to work effectively.
Coordinate diaries, client appointments and meeting schedules.
Assist with correspondence, emails and day-to-day priorities.
Prepare meeting packs, documents and client communications.
Track actions and follow-ups so commitments are completed.
Anticipate upcoming requirements and bring urgent or sensitive matters to the appropriate adviser’s attention.
Welcome clients and respond professionally to enquiries.
Coordinate client reviews, reminders and information gathering.
Liaise with advisers, paraplanners and support staff to keep work progressing.
Maintain accurate client records, CRM information and workflow updates.
Support the administration and follow-through of agreed advice implementation.
Coordinate office supplies, suppliers, maintenance and everyday office needs.
Keep filing, documentation and shared information organised and accessible.
Help organise team meetings, client events and other business activities.
Identify practical ways to improve administrative processes and office efficiency.
You will be an experienced EA, an adviser with exceptional administration skills who wants to change hats, or a strong administrator from a financial services background, ideally within wealth management. Your previous managers have valued your contribution, and you will also demonstrate:
Consistently high standards of organisation, accuracy and attention to detail.
The ability to work independently, anticipate needs, prioritise requests and follow through.
Warm, professional communication with clients and colleagues.
Sound judgement, discretion and the confidence to handle sensitive matters professionally.
Confidence using office software, CRM systems and digital tools.
Initiative, accountability and a clear desire to keep learning and advancing your career.
This role offers an opportunity to advance your career in a family business that values your contribution. As you become established, you will be supported to build new skills and take on additional accountabilities aligned with your strengths, interests and the job’s next phase.
This could include greater ownership of client service coordination, systems and workflow improvements, reporting or wider office operations. Development will be supported and responsibilities agreed as your capability grows.
