Job summary

Flight Centre Travel Group in Auckland is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to join the Enterprise Technology Services team. You will own escalated incidents and service requests, troubleshoot complex hardware and software issues, and work with product and service teams to improve our technology environment.

Based in Auckland, you will collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and partners, while delivering exceptional technical support and contributing to a safe, inclusive work culture.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in an onsite support, service desk, technical support, or similar IT support role.
• Strong understanding of hardware support, PC support, troubleshooting, operating systems, enterprise technologies, and customer service.
• IT degree desirable, industry certifications preferred.
• Travel industry experience, with knowledge of travel industry systems including Sabre.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex hardware, software, infrastructure, and enterprise platform issues while managing escalated incidents and requests.
• Install, configure, maintain, and optimise operating systems, enterprise platforms, user environments, devices, and system services while collaborating with internal teams, vendors, and service partners.
• Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and accessible work environment where all Flighties feel welcomed, respected, and supported to thrive.
