Job summary

Google Cloud is seeking an Enterprise Field Sales Representative in Auckland to drive new logo acquisition and secure foundational cloud workloads for client consumption growth. You will partner with internal teams to shape multi-year strategies and negotiate complex commercial agreements while presenting compelling business cases.

You will lead from initial conversations to cross-functional collaboration, advocating Google Cloud capabilities to executives and decision-makers in enterprise

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 10 years of experience in quota-carrying cloud or software sales, or consultative account management at a B2B software company.
• Experience in engaging and building relationships with internal teams and customer stakeholders.
• Experience prospecting, or building customer relationships from scratch.
• Experience in managing the full business cycle (pipeline management, forecasting, reporting) and managing commercial discussions and agreements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement business strategies to surpass targets and build trusted, consultative relationships with customers.
• Manage and track the sales pipeline from lead to close with accurate forecasting.
• Manage complex, multi-year agreements and craft proposals with clear ROI and deployment plans.
• Mobilize internal experts and external partners to drive consumption and a seamless customer experience.
• Lead prospecting and acquisition of new logos and establish yourself as a trusted advisor on long-term technology decisions.
