Job summary

Archway Recruitment is partnering with a Wellington-based property and project management consultancy to identify a capable project professional. The role supports delivery across refurbishment, renewal and capital works programmes from planning through to handover.

You will collaborate with experienced professionals, manage multiple projects, assist procurement, track milestones and report progress to stakeholders. A relevant qualification and a proactive, client-focused mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in construction, property or project management.
• Experience in consultancy, contractor, client-side property team or related environment.
• A relevant qualification in Construction Management, Building Science, Architecture, Engineering or Property.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities across multiple projects.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving capability.
• Proactive approach with ownership of project outcomes.
• Genuine interest in developing a long-term career in property project management.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the delivery of multiple property and building projects.
• Supporting procurement activities, tender evaluations and contractor engagement.
• Coordinating project programmes and monitoring milestones.
• Monitoring budgets, variations and financial performance.
• Facilitating communication between design teams, contractors and client representatives.
• Undertaking site visits and monitoring construction progress.
• Preparing project reports and providing regular stakeholder updates.
• Supporting successful project completion, handover and close-out activities.
