Job summary

Archway Recruitment is assisting a large New Zealand public sector organisation to appoint a Property Advisor. You will own a portfolio of properties, advising on asset management planning, maintenance programmes, and contract management.

In this role you will work with consultants, project managers, and internal teams to deliver effective property solutions. Regular site visits and risk oversight are key in this dynamic, high-visibility environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in property management, asset management, infrastructure planning, construction, or project management.
• Strong relationship management and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
• Knowledge of property legislation, compliance requirements, and risk management principles.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to balance competing priorities and deliver practical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of a portfolio of properties within a complex public sector environment.
• Provide expert advice on asset management planning, maintenance programmes, and contract management.
• Collaborate with consultants, project managers, contractors and internal teams to deliver property solutions.
• Conduct regular site visits, manage risks, and oversee property-related projects and funding.
