Employer Sponsored Jobs in Auckland, New Zealand, seeks an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex building and venue projects, ensuring quality, safety, and timely delivery.

You will own end-to-end delivery across live operational facilities, coordinate multiple contractors and stakeholders, manage budgets and schedules, and mentor junior team members.

Qualifications

• Proven senior-level project management experience.
• Experience delivering complex construction, refurbishment, or fit-out projects.
• Strong understanding of buildings systems and services.
• Experience with large or complex building portfolios.
• Knowledge of NZ Building Code, consents, and regulatory requirements.
• Understanding of NZS3910 and consultancy contracts.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Demonstrated planning, financial, risk, and program management capability.
• Ability to operate effectively in live and operational environments.
• Relevant qualifications in PM, engineering, or construction desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex building, construction, refurbishment, and renewal projects.
• Manage projects from planning and scoping through completion.
• Coordinate contractors, consultants, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
• Develop and monitor schedules, budgets, scopes, and delivery plans.
• Monitor risks, costs, quality, compliance, and performance.
• Manage works within live venues and ensure safety and compliance.
• Coordinate building services (electrical, mechanical, fire, structural, and water systems).
• Prepare reports and update senior stakeholders on progress.
• Identify risks and implement practical solutions.
• Manage contracts, documentation, procurement, and reporting requirements.
• Maintain relationships with stakeholders and mentor team members.
• Handle multiple projects and competing priorities.
• Support continuous improvement across delivery.
