Job summary

Excel Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (Whanganui) Ltd. is seeking a qualified Electrician to join our Whanganui team. This is a varied, hands-on role where you'll work across our wider refrigeration, heating, ventilation and air conditioning business.

We’re looking for someone who enjoys being on the tools, is mechanically minded and keen to build knowledge across different areas of the industry, across electrical servicing, PLC/automation control and system upgrades.

Qualifications

• A recognised electrical qualification and current NZ electrical registration/licensing.
• Interest in HVAC/R or willingness to learn across heating, ventilation and air conditioning.
• Ability to work with PLC/automation control.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and practical, problem-solving approach.
• Flexible attitude and willingness to get involved.
• Pride in delivering quality work and working safely.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Full NZ driver licence and permanent NZ work rights.

Responsibilities
